New beginnings

January is all about quiet moments, simple joys, and fresh beginnings.

Thanks to the habitat clearing and management carried out by participants in our Greengage project at WWT, the wetland is ready for a fresh start to the year ahead, with tranquil surroundings to be enjoyed by all visitors.

Though the Greengage groups have now finished, the organised weekly health walks led by WWT staff are ongoing. These organised walks are part of the wider Somerset Health Walks initiative.
