Nature’s Glow
December is all about cosy nights and twinkly lights, and participants attending sessions with Sensory Trust had the opportunity to craft their very own nature-inspired lights while surrounded by the beauty of the woodland!
Using clay, oil and bearded rushes gathered from the nearby pond, the group crafted beautiful candles, pressing natural patterns into the clay for a truly rustic finish.
Using leaves as inspiration for clay candles!
Our final groups at WWT have also been using leaves as inspiration for creative crafts, using them to create golden prints and thoughtful drawings that capture the exquisite detail found in nature.

We’re looking forward to speaking with participants across all our programmes to hear about their experiences of taking part in the sessions, and we’re incredibly grateful to everyone who has joined us on this research journey.
We can’t wait to reflect on what we’ve learned and continue exploring together in 2026.
