Groups in full bloom across SW!
It’s been a busy few weeks for our partners in Somerset and Cornwall as Greengage groups have been getting underway.
At WWT in Somerset, the very first Greengage group has now drawn to a close. During their final session, participants reflected on the moments that meant the most to them.
For some, it was simply sharing a cup of tea with new friends. For others, it was the chance to get creative with arts and crafts or learning about the wetlands.

Meanwhile, at the Eden Project in Bodelva, participants have been busy sowing seeds, tending to plants, and harvesting fruits and vegetables under the summer sunshine.
We’re also looking forward to welcoming new participants to our sessions with Sensory Trust in Tregoniggie Woodland, Falmouth – though we do still have a few spaces left to fill before these can begin.
This programme will invite people to slow down and connect with the woodland, through listening to its sounds, joining guided mindfulness practices, and learning more about the lives of its inhabitants.
Our research fellow, Dr Katie Gibbs, also recently joined Janice Rose on CHAOS Radio to chat all things Greengage and share more about the upcoming sessions with Sensory Trust. You can listen to the conversation below.
