The Eden Project
Spaces to join the six week programme at the Eden Project are now full
However, if you'd like to get involved in other activities at the Eden Project, they offer a Gardening for Wellbeing programme, which is suitable for anyone struggling with low mood or social isolation. These sessions offer an opportunity to learn basic gardening skills and spend time with others in a tranquil setting on Eden's outer estate. They are delivered during weekdays from 10am-1pm and vary in length, from 5 to 25 weeks. You can choose a programme to suit you, but booking is essential.
Alternatively, if you're not sure you can commit to a programme but want to make the first step towards getting outdoors and meeting new people, you can join in organised weekly walks, which take place every Friday from 10.30am - 12pm. The walks are open for all levels and abilities, including wheelchair users and people with long-term conditions. Learn more by visiting their Walk at the Eden Project page.
Greengage Sessions at Eden Project take place in their Vounder Therapy Gardens. They focus on building nature connections through a mix of gardening, mindfulness, and creative activities, all led by expert horticultural practitioners.
Whether a seasoned gardener or a complete beginner, participants can take part at their own pace - doing as much or as little as they feel comfortable with. The garden area is tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the main Eden Project site, making it the perfect place to relax and soak up the surroundings.

What is the site like?
Some parts of the site have uneven ground and may be challenging to access in wet weather, especially for wheelchair users. Session leads are very happy to walk around with participants to see what’s manageable during an optional induction session. While there isn’t a dedicated accessible toilet, the site is able to make arrangements to support wheelchair users.
All equipment will be provided, and no prior gardening experience is required. Participants are encouraged to wear warm layers and suitable shoes or boots. Waterproof coats and boots will also available to borrow during the sessions.
