The Eden Project

Eden will focus on building nature connections through a mix of gardening, mindfulness, and creative sessions led by expert horticultural practitioners.

These sessions are likely to take place on a Thursday or Friday.

Whether you’re a seasoned gardener or a complete beginner, you can take part at your own pace - doing as much or as little as you like. The garden area will be tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the main Eden Project site so you can relax and soak up your surroundings.

What could you be doing?

Gardening and growing
Sowing and caring for seeds and planting flowers in addition to fruits and vegetables which you can harvest and enjoy.

Maintaining the gardens
Weeding, feeding, and mulching to keep the garden healthy.

Foraging and cooking
Learning how to cook outdoors using seasonal ingredients.

Getting creative with natural crafts
Using natural materials to create your own works of art.

What is the site like?

Some parts of the site have uneven ground and may be challenging to access in wet weather, especially for wheelchair users. We’re very happy to walk around with you to see what’s manageable during an optional induction session. While there isn’t a dedicated accessible toilet, we are able to make arrangements to support wheelchair users.

All equipment will be provided, and no prior gardening experience is required. Please wear warm layers and suitable shoes or boots, but if you don’t have these, there are waterproof coats and boots available to borrow during the sessions.
